Hiking through the São Mamede Natural Park to the vineyard and back, share meals together, and end the day with our wonderfully silly K(No)w Talent Show.

Friday · 2 October

Arrival in the afternoon

Arrive, settle in, meet everyone, and enjoy a shared dinner at the Quinta.

Saturday · 3 October

Morning
We leave early to avoid the heat for our walk to the vineyard.

• Approximately 20 km return (NB: this is not an easy stroll in the park!)
• Picnic lunch at the vineyard
• Beautiful mountain scenery throughout

We’ll return to the Quinta during the afternoon.

Afternoon
Siesta, showers, sitting by the stream, reading, chatting… or doing absolutely nothing.

Evening
Shared dinner followed by the legendary K(No)w Talent Show.

No talent required. Drag or clothing optional. Music, stories, poetry, terrible jokes, unexpected skills and complete nonsense are all equally welcome.

Sunday · 4 October

A leisurely brunch together before everyone heads home (As it is a bank holiday in Portugal on Monday: you are also welcome to stay a little longer, subject to availability!).

What to bring

• Comfortable walking shoes
• Water bottle
• Sun protection
• Clothes suitable for hiking
• A warm layer for the evening
• Something (optional!) for the K(No)w Talent Show

Before you apply

As with all Quinta gatherings:

• We’ll have a short Zoom or FaceTime chat before confirming your place.
• Gatherings are private, non-commercial events hosted at my home.
• A refundable deposit secures your place and is returned when you attend.
• The Quinta is vegetarian and body-positive, and clothing is always optional.
• Everyone helps a little with shared meals and keeping the space pleasant.
• Respect, consent and kindness towards everyone are expected.
