We are creating an LGBT+/queer-led community and eco-village. Our vision is to create an eco-village space as a living experiment, complemented by an online/hybrid learning space (aka learning lab). This construct allows us to reach out and connect beyond our physical space. Our community are primarily people who identify as queer changemakers, do-gooders and tree-huggers.

We proudly serve this community by providing networking, social and educational activities promoting sustainability in all its forms by focusing on

personal, sustainable development

ecological responsibility and

socially inclusive economic development.

Our principles guiding The Quinta Project are based on the three pillars/interconnected circles of sustainability applied to the specific context of an LGBT+/queer-focused community and ecovillage.

We bring together the community – and communities around us. We do this primarily through our events.
We also actively work to be inclusive and welcoming, celebrate diversity and encourage our partners to do the same. For example, we consequently promote social business practices and support socially inclusive and sustainable businesses.

Our aim is to be an example of an environmentally focused, regenerative community. We promote practices that focus on living in harmony with nature, environmental awareness. We live these examples in our living experiment (eco-village) and we support our community to live according to these principles.

We promote a culture that values inclusive, socially and environmentally sustainable practices. This includes supporting new forms of common good economic models, social enterprises and socially- and environmentally-conscious businesses in our community.
