Hello Quintanians!
I hope you had a smooth transition and a good stat to 2021. Doesn't it already feel like ages away? We enter the new year with new lockdowns, vaccines and health-related questions. Meanwhile, the climate crisis deepens. Nevertheless, many hope for a better year ahead than the last one, although with many questions on their mind.
Maybe the most challenging question is, what will we bring to 2021? What will be the trajectory for us be this year? What can we build? How can we contribute? And how can we connect - and reconnect?
During the last members' meeting, we had a deep discussion about what will be the path of The Quinta Project. One of the outcomes was to create a(n in-) formal membership, for those that want to become more involved in creating a community that connects queer* changemakers and do-gooders. The good news: the form is now available. And, in line with the values of The Quinta Project, membership is, of course, free and open to all.
The first "Theme Week", with the topic "Vegan" was also a great success. The community forum had nearly double the visitors during the week, and many interacted with the variety of different daily posts. Next week, we are starting the next Theme Week - and this time we are looking at sustainability projects from around the world. Make sure you don't miss a post!
