Hello villagers! Hello !
We have just announced the dates of the upcoming “Work Weeks” at the Quinta Project for this year. During the work weeks, we will have several villagers staying at the Quinta for a week - and work collaboratively on a project (or two) on the land. So it’s a great chance to come along, meet other villagers and to get to know the Quinta.
In 2022 we are planning to have four work weeks:
- Spring Work Week: 17.-24. April
- Summer Work Week: 19.-26. June
- Autumn Work Week: 2.-9. October
- Olive harvest Week: 4.-11. December
In a way, the Work Week is similar to a WOOFing experience, in that everyone will work on the project. And also, it will have a lot of community activity thrown into the mix.
If you are thinking about coming to one (or all) of the work weeks, please send me an email so that we can schedule a call. Alternatively, you can always pop into one of our open meetings.
The next Open Meeting is this Thursday, 20. January, at 5:00 pm Lisbon time. Whether you’d like to attend work week, have questions - or maybe you just want to say hello and meet other Quinta villagers, please come along. To get your zoom access link, please register here:

… And last but not least: Thank you for the many positive tweets, emails and messages regarding the Quinta Manifesto. Many of you have asked where they can find the full version. The full version is available here: https://quinta.lgbt/manifesto/
There is also a downloadable version of the manifesto, which includes all the additional notes. As some of you have noticed, the points have a lot of literary connections. So if you want to check out the full background to the points, then download the PDF version here. https://quinta.lgbt/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Quinta-Manifesto-November-2021.pdf
And, of course, again a big thank you to everyone involved in writing the manifesto - and creating the artwork that goes with each point. Thus a big thank you to (in order of artwork appearance): Alex, Benedict, Kevin, Lazuli/Matthias, Stephan, Nathalie and John!
We would also still love to hear from you what you think about the manifesto. It’s a living document, and we want it to grow with your input! Thank you!
So, I’m hoping to see you on Thursday - or maybe during one of the work weeks!
With lots of love from The Quinta Project
Stephan
