Sharing the full abundance of this harvest season at the Quinta Project Community

...we need to think about sex and gender in a more ecological kind of framework, understanding that changes in one environment inevitably impact changes in other environments. Gender here might be thought of more as a climate or ecosystem and less as an identity or discrete bodily location.

Jack Halberstam (author of the Queer Book Club this month)

Hello

We would like to share with you the full abundance of what the Quinta Project has to offer. Please join us with a full diary of events at the Quinta, with lots of news from the Land Project.

If you hold questions about the project, would like to know about visiting, find out more or get to know the other folk is our Open Meeting, on 18th November at 5pm. Come along to find out more about the land project, the online community and the idea(s) behind the Quinta Project. Find out more and register here.

This month, The Gardeners' & Growers' Tea Time is also a great place to find out more: We will have a virtual walkthrough of the land. And a report back from taking part in the Global Ecovillage Network's Permaculture workshops. Grab your tea this Monday, 8th November at 5pm. To register go here.

The Queer Bookclub will be talking about Jack Halberstam this month,... highly recommended is their book “Wild Things: The Disorder of Desire”. And there are plenty of other books to choose from, as Jack has an impressive publication record!
And looking ahead, the December author is Eça de Queiroz, with a book suggestion being A Cidade e as Serras (“The City and the Mountains”).
Join us on the 29th November at 7:30 pm. For more information - click here!

... and, of course, there are meetings of the pods that are doing incredible work to make the Quinta Project happen. If you want to join them, please come to the Open Meeting if you haven't been before - or email hello@quinta.lgbt.

Have a really great November - and we are all looking forward to seeing you soon!

With 💚 love
Stephan and everyone from the
