Come Harvest With Us: Two Autumn Gatherings at the Quinta Project
Craving grounded connection? queer community? And time on the land? This is your invitation!
This autumn, the Quinta Project welcomes you to the Portuguese mountains for two very special gatherings: Harvest Celebration Week (22–26 September) and Olive Harvest Week (3–7 November).
Each week offers a different rhythm, and both are rooted in ecoqueer kinship, seasonal flow, and a deep sense of place.

Harvest Celebration Week is a time to pause and honour the close of harvest season. This isn't a work week. It’s a spacious, joyful gathering where we share meals, walk the vineyard and the woods, taste the earliest signs of fermentation, and celebrate what the land - and we - have made possible. If you’re looking for reconnection, inspiration, or simply space to breathe among queer kin, this week is for you.

Olive Harvest Week is more hands-on. We’ll spend our mornings harvesting olives and learning how oil is pressed, with afternoons for rest, fire-side conversations, and a quiet closing ceremony to honour the end of the agricultural year. It’s a beautiful way to slow down, work with your body, and feel the rhythm of this wild place as winter approaches.
You don’t need any farm experience. Just curiosity, care, and a readiness to show up. Whether you come for one week or both, you’ll be part of something bigger: a growing ecoqueer network grounded in land, joy, and connections. |
