DESCRIPTION:Calling all queer* permaculturists (and those who want to become one!) \nCurious about permaculture?\nAlready love permaculture?\nCreating a permaculture garden?\nOr using social permaculture to change society? \nJoin us to explore more\, co-create and learn from each other. From January\, the Permaculture Pod will be hosting a monthly queer* permies get together online. \nTogether\, we will delve into one permaculture principle each month and explore how we can bring it to life and what it means to us. \n9 January: Observe and interact. \n13 February: Catch and store energy. \n13 March: Obtain a yield. \n10 April: Apply self-regulation and accept feedback. \n8 May: Use and value renewable resources and services. \n12 June: Produce no waste. \n10 July: Design from patterns to details. \n14 August: Integrate rather than segregate. \n11 September: Use small and slow solutions. \n9 October: Use and value diversity. \n13 November: Use edges and value the marginal. \n11 December: Creatively use and respond to change. \nAll events start at 6:00pm (Portuguese time). The meetings will be online via Zoom and are free to attend. \nThe intention is to create a space where we can explore the many aspects of permaculture by sharing our experiences and asking questions. Whether curious about permaculture\, or an avid practitioner\, we invite you to come and co-create the space with us. In the Community Call I will look at the history of how the relationship emerged and developed\, and how this shaped the (mostly) gay community today. \nWith Stephan Dahl\, who\, before founding the Quinta Project\, was an academic researching marketing. DESCRIPTION:The Quinta FoodPod invites you to an evening of seasonal\, local and vegan food and great company. We will use produce from the Quinta veggie gardens to create a meal – and enjoy it together: It’s like one of the dinners at the Quinta\, where we are sitting together\, chatting\, laughing\, loving and creating community. Though today\, you can join from wherever you are in the world! \nThe recipe is shared a few days before (please ensure that you are registered using the link below!). We will send you a list of ingredients that we will be using. On the day\, we will cook the meal together – and share it with everyone on the call\, no matter where you are in the world. \nThe FoodPod is the pod that looks after the food on the Quinta. We love fresh\, seasonal food from the Quinta vegetable gardens – and we love to share this with everyone on the Quinta – and around the world. Over the past year\, the Quinta has gained quite a reputation for exciting and interesting vegan and vegetarian food on site.
