SUMMARY:Open Week
DESCRIPTION:Calling all queer* nature lovers to join us for a week of co-created fun\, bewilderment\, joy\, reflection\, pleasure and exploration. At the height of summer\, we will gather in this little corner of the Alto Alentejo and share our passions and interests\, our explorations and discoveries. \nThe week is run in an open space format\, where each participant is invited to contribute. With these contributions\, we will create our agenda for the week and create a week full of co-creation and co-exploration. Do you want to show us how to make vegan cheese? Find queer plants at the Quinta? Create a ritual in the threshing circle? Share how to massage feet? Crochet a tree cover? Bring together a cuddle puddle? Connect over a tea ceremony? Talk about nature tantra? Read poetry? … Bring your ideas and join us! \nOur days during the week will involve caring for and connecting to the land\, sharing meals and a wide variety of different explorations and experiences with your fellow community members. \n  \nArrival/Departure\nPlease arrive on Sunday afternoon. If coming by bus from Lisbon\, we can collect you from Marvão. We will have a tour of the land and the facilities at 16:00\, followed by a dinner together. \nDeparture is after brunch the next Sunday. \nFacilities/Accommodation\nThe accommodation will be in shared double rooms\, shared sleeping space or tents at Community House. \nFood\nAll food during the week will be shared (vegan) \nLocation: The Quinta Project\, Marvão\, Portugal\n\nPrice: All gatherings are free to attend. While participants will not be charged for food or accommodation it is expected that each will actively and intentionally contribute to the shape\, content\, environment and outcome of the week. We can not cover the cost of travel to/from the Quinta. \nRegistration process: \nThis is a living\, experimental space where we work together to practice and model the kind of interactions we wish to see more of in the world. Before applying\, please consider whether or not you are committed to participating in a way that honours and celebrates the multi-faceted mission of the Quinta and that you are willing to co-create the week with your fellow participants. \nPlease complete the registration form available here (from 1.
