SUMMARY:Ecofeminist Week
DESCRIPTION:Join the circle\, dear ones\, for a week of embodied ecofeminism. Reconnect with nature\, as nature. \nDuring our week at The Quinta Project we will create a temporary community where each one is responsible for the whole and all will contribute to the shape\, content\, and outcome of our time together. As we collect and review current applications certain themes have been presented that we wish to explore further during our time together. These include\, but are not necessarily limited to: \n-food sovereignty\n-sacredness of nature and celebration through ritual\, art\, and embodiment practices\n-cooperation with nature\n-reclaiming ancestral traditions and methods\n-collectivist models and co-creation\n-challenging binary notions\n-nurturing care for the land\, each other\, our self \nWhen applying for a place please indicate how you might contribute to the shape\, content\, or outcome for the week. Do you have an activity that you’d love to lead that ties in with one of the themes? Is there another theme you would like to add to the week? Do you have a special skill that you could offer? Is there a way in which you can support the group? \nThis week we will be prioritizing applicants who identify as FLINTA (female\, lesbian\, intersex\, non-binary\, trans\, agender) though all are welcome to apply. \n  \nArrival/Departure\nPlease arrive on Sunday afternoon. If coming by bus from Lisbon\, we can collect you from Marvão. We will have a tour of the land and the facilities at 16:00\, followed by a dinner together. \nDeparture is after brunch the next Sunday. \nFacilities/Accommodation\nThe accommodation will be in shared double rooms\, shared sleeping space or tents at Community House. \nFood\nAll food during the week will be shared (vegan) \nLocation: The Quinta Project\, Marvão\, Portugal\n\nPrice: All gatherings are free to attend. While participants will not be charged for food or accommodation it is expected that each will actively and intentionally contribute to the shape\, content\, environment and outcome of the week. We can not cover the cost of travel to/from the Quinta. \nRegistration process: \nThis is a living\, experimental space where we work together to practice and model the kind of interactions we wish to see more of in the world. Before applying\, please consider whether or not you are committed to participating in a way that honours and celebrates the multi-faceted mission of the Quinta and that you are willing to co-create the week with your fellow participants. \nPlease complete the registration form available here (from 1. November – 15. January)
