Ecosensual Week

2 July - 9 July

Calling all queer* people who want to explore and experiment with sensual connections with nature: join us for a week-long journey where we inquire our connection to the self, nature and others in community on the land at the Quinta Project.

EcoSEXuality …
what are the first images that come to mind?
Romantic silky sex on a spring meadow in the golden light of the sunset? A bareback on a rock with a stormy mountainous background? A woman getting fucked by a horse?
Well, this gathering is not about that.
First of, we are not into sexual intercourse with animals (consent, you know).
But also we want to go further than taking nature as a nice scenery to have sex in.
We want to explore the sexual energy of nature itself. And to be able to do that in connection with nature and ourselves, we take a step back from sexuality and start from ecoSENSuality.

Together we will explore how nature can inspire sensuality, how different energies emerge when we are connecting with nature, are grounded and how nature can evoke pleasure. We will challenge the nature/culture binary, explore queerness of, in and with nature. And how consent, sensuality and sexuality interplay with and in nature.

The programme during the week and the reflections are inspired by Barbara Carellas, Bettie Martin, Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stevens, Catriona Sandilands and Bruce Erickson. We are excited to share these influences with you as a group and as individuals, in a journey that interweaves all beings through connection, energy, love and our queer spirits.

We want to want to create a diverse and inclusive space and encourage all FLINTA and BIPOC people to apply.
