The exciting news: We have bought a plot of land to make it the physical home of our little queer, hybrid ecovillage community!

Massive thanks to the Land Project Group and the Working Persons' Pod who have been an integral part of the journey and supported the purchase throughout the process. You are amazing! 

A quick summary of the land: The land is approx. 5.5 hectares (13.5 acres) in size and is located within the São Mamede nature park. Most of the land is planted with trees, including olive, cork oak, many different varieties of fruit trees ... About a quarter is terraced and can be used to grow vegetables. Self-sufficiency here we come! Three streams cross the land, one of which runs all year. The other two are seasonal.

There are three houses on the land, which we plan to convert into accommodation for community members and, eventually, visitors.
